Physical exercises

Today’s people prefer comfortable life. Everybody is using vehicle for traveling so walking is forgone matter today. Hard work is limited to only certain class of people. Most of the people are going for white color jobs. Due to busy schedule from the morning to night people don’t have time at least to walk.

Physical exercise is necessary in order to keep the body healthy, physically and mentally. It should be taken daily. Those who have not undertaken any physical exercise for a long time may find the muscles sore after they start it. This is an indication that those muscles which were not being used previously. If exercise is continued, gradually soreness passes away and a freshness and vitality comes in. The start should make with lighter or body warming exercises taken for a shorter period. Gradually more heavy exercises for a long duration could be started and continued. Exercise is best done early in the morning in the open, in fresh air. It can also be done in the evening before dinner. Doing exercise with full or half stomach is harmful.

Running is the best form of physical exercise. It exercises all the muscles of the body including those of the abdomen. To begin with, one can run, say for a mile at an even pace if one feels exhausted in between, one can even walk for a short distance and then resume running. Gradually one can run faster and increase the distance run up two miles. Running a distance of two miles in 12 minutes is an ideal form of physical activity. Those in their twenties can certainly run longer distances.

Some people find brisk walking is very god form of exercise. It is particularly good for people in order age groups and for those whom their doctors do not recommend hard exercises. It is also good for those who have had a heart attack before. Swimming and cycling are the two physical exercises enjoyed by people of all age groups and of both the sexes. Gardening is another form of physical exercise for those who have garden and an aptitude for this type of work. It keeps the body physically fit; it relaxes the mind very much. Comparing men, women are the well beneficiaries of exercises especially in India. They do all their household works and in the process provide physical exercise to most of their muscles. The result is that they have sounder bodies than men have.

Physical exercises, after one has been doing it for quite sometime, makes the person do more work with less expenditure of energy. A person who does physical exercise regularly sleeps better at night, thereby providing more relaxation to the nerves and the mind.
